During the early 1970's Bill Morgan 1971-77, continued to edit the club newsletter then Geoff Parsons 1978-82 took over. During the 80's Bob Squirrell 1983 and Fred Parsons 1984-85 gave it a go then Philip Parkinson 1986-89 took the job on. After 50 years based in Wandsworth, the club moved away from it's original home in 1980 to it's present home in Chessington. The 90's started with a club sponsor in the shape of Evans Cycles and the editor was Caroline Schouten 1990-92. Graham Bromley 1993-95 took over and then Simon Jordan 1995-96, took the helm and gave the newsletter a fresh look with a re-branded name - Bottom Gear.
